Police Checks

All coaches over the age of 18 must obtain a police vulnerable records check with your local police force. If you already have a valid police check (done within the last 2 years) please provide us with a copy of that form.

If you live with the City of Peterborough, Cavan Monaghan Township or the Village of Lakefield you must get your check through the Peterborough Police Service. You can do this online, https://www.peterboroughpolice.com/en/request/record-checks_copy.aspx or by making an appointment to complete in person. More information is available on their website.

If you apply online, you can upload your receipt during the coach registration process or email your receipt to us or bring your receipt to the coaches meeting on May 6th to submit to the club for re-imbursement.

Please ensure you let them know you are volunteering to receive a reduced fee. You will need to bring this form with you: POLICE RECORD CHECK FORM

If you live outside of the areas above, you must apply through the OPP in person at 453 Lansdowne St E. More information can be found here, https://www.opp.ca/index.php?id=115&entryid=56a1276d8f94acdb5824a3d7
