Police Checks

All coaches over the age of 18 must obtain a police vulnerable records check with your local police force. If you already have a valid police check (done within the last 2 years) please provide us with a copy of that form.

If you live with the City of Peterborough, Cavan Monaghan Township or the Village of Lakefield you must get your check through the Peterborough Police Service. You can do this online, https://www.peterboroughpolice.com/request/record-checks/ or by visiting the Police Station in person at 500 Water St N between the hours of 8:30am to 4:15pm Monday to Friday.

If you apply online, please email your receipt to us or bring your receipt to the coaches meeting on May 6th to submit to the club for re-imbursement.

If you apply in person, the police will bill the club directly. Please ensure you let them know you are volunteering to receive a reduced fee. You will need to bring this form with you: POLICE RECORD CHECK FORM

If you live outside of the areas above, you must apply through the OPP in person at 453 Lansdowne St E. More information can be found here, https://www.opp.ca/index.php?id=115&entryid=56a1276d8f94acdb5824a3d7
