Each year, our club awards the Ron Thompson scholarship (valued at $500) to one or two of our club members, including players, coaches and referees. In order for you to be eligible, you should be a club member (player, coach or referee of the club), who is graduating from High School with the intention of pursuing post secondary education (University or College) in the fall of the year you are applying. You will have to apply for it, with a short letter describing who you are, your relationship to our club (player, coach, referee, etc.) and why you think you are worth the consideration for this scholarship. - OUTLINE OF POST SECONDARY PROGRAM AND PROOF OF REGISTRATION IN SAME
- COPY OF SECONDARY REPORT CARD
- RESUME OUTLING CONTRIBUTIONS TO SOCCER ROLES OF PLAYER, REFEREE, COACH AND/OR VOLUNTEER
- NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER OF A PERSON FROM THE LOCAL SOCCER COMMUNITY WHO COULD BE CONTACTED AS A REFERENCE

The applications will be viewed by a special panel of 3 appointed each year. Each application is viewed with the name of the applicant hidden. The panel looks at the applications and decides based on the merits of each applicant. The deadline for the application this year is Aug 5th. The winning applicant/s will be announced at the playoffs held at Beavermead on August 25th.
